Hello Everyone,
I have just joined this page, and thought I might be able to provide some lessons I have learned from my own experiences. I scored a 180 on the test which I know is not concrete but is a decent indicator of the extremity of my Alexithymia. I would say that studying body language is perhaps one of the most telling indicators. For a quick intro I would read this article on Fremont.edu ( https://fremont.edu/how-to-read-body-language-revealing-the-secrets-behind-common-nonverbal-cues/ ).
Another piece of advice would be getting some form of heart rate monitor (apple watches are expensive but very practical). This helps because your heart rate fluctuates when your experience certain emotions and this can help you identify what you are feeling.
